Seasonal things 'to do' for farmers and small landholders in the Perth region of Western Australia.

  • Follow up weed control [1] in proposed planting areas as required, (new and infill plantings - summer dry areas).
  • Once first winter rains have occurred - plant and fertilise summer dry areas, (e.g. summer dry ridges and sandy soils).
  • Sow crops and legumes.
  • Fertilise pasture [2]areas as recommended through soil tests [3].
  • Increase grazing as pasture growth improves.
  • Fuel reduction burns (after first rains).
